With that being said, other emulators might offer some functionality or performance that you cannot find in Retroarch’s cores.įor those interested in Saturn games, Developer Jabu has released Saturn-fpkg, a tool that lets you turn Saturn Roms into installable packages on Jailbroken PS4s. Retroarch lets you emulate a wide selection of emulators and should probably be your first choice before you look into others. “Unofficial” here is a bit unfair, the port is of high quality, but simply cannot be advertised publicly by the Retroarch team because it was built using some leaked Sony SDK instead of the open source SDK. If you are looking for more external resources and legitimate news sites, here are some you can check out.The PS4 Homebrew Store has downloads for multiple emulators you can try, including in particular an unofficial port of Retroarch. Once you have your choice of HEN running on your firmware, you can use AlAzif's payload guest app to run other payloads without the need of running the exploit again or a web host. There are a ton of alternatives out there and you can use whatever you want, but you do so at your own risk. That host and al-azif's dns are the 2 public hosts this sub will 'officially' recommend. The hosts listed above for firmwares 6.72-7.55 are made by sleirsgoevy who is the person who actually made the exploit(s) we use on those firmwares and also includes a rough tutorial. You will need to run the exploit again every power cycle. For any exploit you run, the effects are not permanent. No one knows when or if one will be released. sleirsgoevy's 7.02 host For firmware 6.72: sleirsgoevy's 6.72 host Start here if you're on firmware 5.05/5.07: PS4 Jailbreak Guide - HEN Exploit on 5.05 If you're on firmware 9.03+ there are no public exploits at this time. For firmware 7.50-7.55 you can use sleirsgoevy's 7.55 host For firmware 7.02. ![]() 9.00 is unique as it requires a usb drive and an extra step in the exploit process. For firmware 9.00 Check out this video by modded warfare for instructions. If you are already above 5.05, updating to 9.00 will give you the best success rate compared to the 6.72, 7.02 and 7.55 exploit. Even if you do not use it while on 5.05, there is a chance you could sell it for more than normal to someone who does want to use 5.05. 5.05 and 9.00 are about equal in success rate but 5.05 does not require a usb drive like 9.00 does. Note: If you are on 5.05 or below I recommend you do not go above 5.05. Otherwise please ask questions in the comments of this thread.
